Also note that Coweta County is in the planning stages for a possible new Wal-Mart on Hwy 154, just north of I‑85. There will be additional safety concerns with increased traffic flow on Hwy 154 if this comes about.

I’ve had some good ideas submitted regarding controlling speeding in the neighborhood. Unfortunately several of the ideas cannot be implemented due to County ordinances on the use of traffic calming devices on public roadways. Since certain people are recklessly speeding through the neighborhood (e.g. not a few MPH over incidentaly, by accident, but rather 15–20 MPH over the posted 25 MPH limit), I’m considering posting reports with the vehicle description, tag number, etc on this web site to identify outrageous and frequent violators. I’m also researching a few other suggestions for feasibility and potential for impact. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact me.
