The recent storm caused a sys­tem fail­ure on our pool gates. We are cur­rent­ly wait­ing on parts need­ed to com­plete the repairs. Until the repairs can be made, a tem­po­rary fix will be in place.

At the main pool gate, we are installing a ver­ti­cal pull gate latch. The pool will remain open dai­ly from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and will be locked shut after hours. If you have any ques­tions, please con­tact us thru the website.

The elec­tron­ic gate sys­tem on the pool is not work­ing; there­fore, the pool is closed this morn­ing for safe­ty rea­sons. A board mem­ber will be there this after­noon to open and mon­i­tor the pool, weath­er per­mit­ting. We are cur­rent­ly wait­ing on a repair response from the company.

There will be a General Membership meet­ing at the club­house on Wednesday, May 27@7:00pm. All res­i­dents are invit­ed to attend.

Board Notes from the GDOT Input Meeting May 5, 2026

On Tuesday, May 5^th the HOA Board was invit­ed to an input meet­ing by GDOT to dis­cuss the widen­ing of SR154 from US29 to SR54. 

The jus­ti­fi­ca­tion for the project is to

• Increase capac­i­ty
• Reduce crash­es
• Improve mobil­i­ty
• Reduce con­ges­tion

This project is in the begin­ning stages — the plan is to widen SR154 to four lanes (2 north­bound and 2 south­bound lanes) with a 20ft raised medi­an between the lanes. Also includ­ed is a 16ft edge (to pos­si­bly include a side­walk) each side of the road requir­ing 100ft width total for the new road. Turn lanes would be incor­po­rat­ed into the medi­ans as necessary.

At the meet­ing we were asked for our con­cerns as an HOA. We dis­cussed turn­ing into and out of the sub­di­vi­sion, traf­fic con­ges­tion and the pos­si­bil­i­ty of side­walks to Thomas Crossroads. Stop lights are being dis­cussed as well as roundabouts.

• 12/​2026 — Concept for widen­ing approval 
• 02/​2028 — Preliminary field plan review
• 05/​2028 — Right of way autho­riza­tions complete 
• 06/​2030 — Final plan review
• 05/​2031 — Construction to begin

Neighborhood yard sales are tomor­row from 8am-3pm! We’ve adver­tised in local Facebook groups on behalf of the neighborhood.

Please remove cars from the streets tomor­row to make room for increased traffic.

Join us for Spring Cleanup Day this Saturday, April 18, start­ing at 9:30 AM at the clubhouse.

We’ll be work­ing on a few com­mu­ni­ty projects, including:

• Planting flow­ers and spread­ing mulch
• Painting signs

It’s a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet your neigh­bors and enjoy some time out­doors togeth­er. Plus, we’ll have a bounce house set up for the kids to enjoy!

The Neighborhood Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, April 25^th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Banners will be placed at the neigh­bor­hood entrances, and the HOA board will also pro­mote the event in local yard sale groups.
