Brookstone Park Homeowners Association

On May 11^th at 7pm, the HOA will be host­ing a meet the District 4 School Board can­di­dates. The elec­tion will be held on May 24^th. The win­ner of this elec­tion will be our local school board rep­re­sen­ta­tive. Each can­di­date will have 15 min to speak with a 5 min Q&A. Please use the the web­site con­tact form to give us a heads up if you are inter­est­ed in com­ing. This event is open to any­one interested.

On May 7^th, Richard Blackmon will be offer­ing two CPR train­ing ses­sions at 10am and again at 1:30.    If we need anoth­er day, we will offer more ses­sions on May 21^st with the same sched­ule.  To sign up, click, on the google form below with your name and address so we can have a head count for him.   We are going to try and lim­it the num­bers to 20 peo­ple per session.

Brookstone Park Residents,

Our pool key sys­tem that oper­ates entry into the pool and ten­nis courts has failed beyond repair.  Your cur­rent key no longer works.  The HOA board has had the old sys­tem replaced with Open Path.  Open path oper­ates by swip­ing your smart device as the key.  This com­ing Thursday March 31^st from 5:00 until 7:30 and this com­ing Saturday April 2^nd from 9:00 until 2:00 we will be issu­ing new pool keys.  More dates to follow.

Here is what you need to do/​know:

1. Property own­er des­ig­nates who receives a key
2. Person/​people receiv­ing a key must live at the residence
3. Each smart device needs to down­load OpenPath app BEFORE show­ing up
4. Keys will only be issued to res­i­dents over age 16 as per the pool rules which have been defined by our insur­ance policy
5. As you receive a key, the prop­er­ty own­er will be required to sign a release form

When you arrive:

• Bring your mobile device for each users
• Driver license or proof of residency.
• Download the OpenPath app before arriving

Brookstone Park will once again be doing Dumpster Day. The dump­sters will be avail­able sun­rise of April 2^nd and will remain open until vol­un­teers deem them full. Once full, that’s it. This is a ser­vice to Brookstone Park res­i­dents only that are cur­rent on their dues. If you aren’t cur­rent on your dues, you won’t have access to the service. 

NO: paint, tires (even bicy­cle), oxy­gen tanks, propane tanks, car/​small engine bat­tery, dirt, bricks, or cement.

Our neigh­bor­hood yard sale is this Saturday March 19^th, from 8am-1pm. It’s been adver­tised with a good response, so expect heavy traf­fic on Saturday, through the neigh­bor­hood. Clean out your base­ments and garages and make some cash.

Brookstone Park Residents, 

As of today, your pool/​tennis court key access card no longer works. The Door Kings sys­tem died and is no longer fis­cal­ly viable to repair. We had to install a replace­ment sys­tem. We are excit­ed about the new sys­tem, it is a pos­i­tive upgrade from the pri­or sys­tem. More infor­ma­tion will be snail mailed, post­ed to Facebook, and post­ed to the www.brookstonepark.org in the com­ing weeks. If you have ques­tions, email the board through the com­mu­ni­ty website.
